Snow banks at parking lots get MASSIVE after a big storm so I thought I had pretty much seen the extent of how high these man-plowed snow mountains can get… can you imagine my surprise after spotting this monster at the South East corner of Kipling and Bloor. It’s one of a number of city sponsored snow dumps building larger every second as we continue to dig out of the worst winter in years. This massive pile, over six-stories high and roughly five football fields in area, has been constructed by snow from 60 trucks an hour for 24-hours, 7-days a week over the past few weeks.
