One of the most visually stunning and fun weddings I photographed last year was a movie-themed wedding from Andrew and Aisha. The wedding was all centred in the beautiful and lush Yorkville neighbourhood of Toronto. The bride and groom got ready in the five-star Hazelton Hotel, appropriate, as it’s a hotel of choice for many of the stars during TIFF.
For the couple wedding photos we strolled around the ROM, into University of Toronto and along Bloor Street down to Tiffiny & Co. Ceremony, reception and dinner were at the always fantastic Sassafraz in Yorkville. Look for movie related items throughout the photos. Super fun couple and an excellently executed wedding.

The movie-themed idea was naturally due to Andrew and Aisha’s love of movies, but also because Andrew is the owner and editor-in-chief of The Gate Entertainment Magazine.
